Sometimes, when I’m feeling overwhelmed, the best thing I can do is to find different ways of engaging my brain and distracting myself from things that are upsetting me. It’s not a great long-term solution, but it’s still a tool I have for dealing with things that are hard. So here is a page of different games. Some are embedded here, and some are links to other sites. I don’t make any guarantees of anything working, and I can’t absolutely promise that nothing will be triggering, but I chose things that I think are unlikely to be upsetting.

Set Game (this is a really soothing game for me.)
Tangerine Panic (this is less soothing, but still fun.)
Free Rice dot com (this is a vocabulary builder that also gives food to the UN Food Bank.)
Pogo games (this site has some good games and some that aren’t great. It’s worth a look. You do have to make an account, but you don’t get spam from them that I’ve noticed.)
